California Nuggets signature product is our roasted gourmet corn. The original variety of corn seed used to create California Nuggets gourmet corn is over 1000 years old. With the assistance of Dr. Don Shaver, who is a specialist in plant breeding, the old world variety has been specially blended with an American corn seed to produce a unique plump white kernel. Dr. Shaver continues to work with CNI to bring exciting new products to the market.

Our process is unique, as it takes two days for the corn to soak in natural ingredients mined from the earth. The kernels are then hand-sorted to assure consistent quality.

The corn is then steam-baked, roasted in a blend of oils, seasoned with a variety of herbs and spices, and packed to ensure freshness. The steam-baked process provides a rich corn flavor with a light crunch and a healthy nutritional profile.
